The grinder’s brushless motor provides power equivalent to a 10-amp corded grinder and greater efficiency that maximizes runtime and productivity. The grinder has a brake system, which helps provide a rapid stop of the wheel when the switch is turned off. It features Drop control to help shut the grinder off after accidentally dropping the tool on the floor and KickBack Control, which helps shut off the tool if the wheel gets into a binding situation. It also includes other advanced electronics such as restart protection and constant electronics for constant speed under load. It has a lock-on/off slide switch for extended-use applications and an updated gearhead mounting collar that's now compatible with all Bosch metal and concrete guards. The kit includes a next-gen CORE18V® 8.0 Ah PROFACTOR Performance Battery, which is PROFACTOR optimized, designed to deliver the power and runtime needed by PROFACTOR tools with BITURBO Brushless technology for the toughest applications.
